These three latest products from the company comes with similar features, design and hardware except the display size. As the company is targeting to build its brand image in the industry, price tags looks highly competitive, considering the product features and built-quality. The Sceptre E248W-1920 monitor comes with HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels on 24-Inch display screen. We must admit that the display quality is not comparable with other expensive models in the market; however, the display quality is not disappointing either. HD videos and images look crisp and sharp enough. With dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, colors look natural and vivid. Overall display quality is better than what we normally notice in other low cost LED-Lit monitors. The company has done excellent job in providing next-to-superior quality of display in this budget friendly device.
Similar to other monitors from the company, Sceptre E248W also filled with tons of useful features. The model has feature ready connectivity features to accept input from desktop computer, laptop, gaming console and AV systems. The model sports HDMI, DVI and VGA ports, most users find them useful. Another key feature in this 24-Inch monitor is wall mount design, the thin monitor looks like an art piece on wall. It also comes with an in-built speaker with decent output. The monitor is Windows Hardware Quality Labs tested and certified with WHQL. The certification assures the device is compatible with Microsoft applications and operating systems that includes Windows 8.
Our Verdict: We must mention it, the display quality and performance of Sceptre E248W monitor was far better than what we expect from a low cost device. The device more-or-less imitates expense monitors from other well-known brands. After testing the review unit, we are expecting Sceptre would heat up fair competition in the low budget monitor segment in coming years. At this price range, E248W is one of the better options available today.

I replaced a 24 Dell monitor with this one, and I have not been disappointed at all. The price was right, and the features are outstanding. I expect the quality to last based on other reviews.
